Frequently asked questions
Questions about how Drawn works, what the products cost, and what to expect from a consultation.
About the consultation
What is a water wellness consultation?+
A free 30-minute conversation about your water quality data and household goals. We review your water report, discuss your household profile, and talk through options honestly, including when an Enagic system isn't the right fit.
Is the consultation really free?+
Yes. 30 minutes, free, no obligation. Drawn is an authorised Enagic distributor and earns commission on Enagic sales, this is disclosed. The consultation is diagnostic, not a sales presentation.
Will you try to sell me something?+
Honestly, yes, we are an Enagic distributor, and we may recommend an Enagic system if it fits your needs. We'll tell you clearly if it does, and clearly if it doesn't. We don't recommend a system to everyone.
Do I need to check my water quality first?+
Yes. Start at WaterHealthCheck.com. Your consultation will be more useful if we know what's in your water.
Can I consult with Drawn if I'm outside the US?+
Yes. Consultations are by video or phone, available worldwide. Drawn is based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and works with households across the US, Australia, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Mexico. Enagic products are priced per country.
About the products
What's the difference between filtration and ionization?+
Filtration removes contaminants—lead, PFAS, chlorine, nitrates. Ionization changes water chemistry—pH, ORP, dissolved hydrogen. You need filtration first. Ionization is a separate conversation about water quality, not water safety.
How much does the Enagic K8 cost?+
The Enagic K8 retails at approximately $5,890 USD. The Anespa DX is approximately $3,420 USD. Pricing is set globally by Enagic and does not vary by country of purchase. Filter replacement costs approximately $150 USD per year.
Is there a payment plan?+
Yes. Enagic offers internal financing and we also have external financing available through approved partners. Terms vary by market. We'll cover options in the consultation.
Is there a trial period?+
Yes. New Enagic units come with a 30-day return period in most markets. Conditions apply. We'll cover this in the consultation.
Is Enagic an MLM?+
Enagic operates a direct sales compensation model, which shares structural features with MLM, but differs in key ways. No monthly purchase quotas, no recruitment requirements to earn, and products are sold at a fixed retail price. Whether you call it MLM depends on your definition. What matters for buyers: the machine price is the same regardless of which distributor you buy from.
Can a Kangen machine be used with a water softener?+
Generally no. Softened water uses sodium ions to replace calcium and magnesium, which affects the electrolysis process. A Kangen machine requires minerals in the source water to ionise effectively. If you have a softener, we'll discuss options in the consultation.
Do Kangen machines work with well water?+
It depends on the well water composition. High iron, high hardness, or bacterial contamination all require pre-treatment. We assess source water as part of the consultation.
What is Kangen Ukon?+
An oil-based turmeric softgel made from wild Curcuma aromatica grown at Yanbaru, northern Okinawa. Uses oil-based delivery (perilla, flaxseed, olive, and evening primrose oils) instead of black pepper (piperine) for absorption, relevant for anyone who takes medications that interact with piperine.
Health and safety
Is this right for me if I'm pregnant?+
If you're pregnant or trying to conceive, start with WaterHealthCheck.com. Their pregnancy-focused water quality report is the right first step. Come back to Drawn when you're ready to go further.
Are there health guarantees?+
No. Nothing on this site or in a consultation constitutes medical advice. We share what the peer-reviewed literature shows and what users report. Always consult your healthcare provider.
